The El Camino Man

When our house down on the Calfkiller River burned back in 02
we lived for a while in the small village of Doyle Tenn. There
was a mysterious man living across the street. Nobody knew his
name, where he was from, what he did for a living, or anything
about him. Because he drive an El Camino, the kids of doyle all
called him "the El Camino Man"
One day my dog went missing, and later I saw the El Camino Man
let him out of his back door. Roscoe was a friendly dog, and I
didn't give this too much thought until he went missing for an
entire week. Finally, one day the El Camino Man returned from
one of his mysterious trips, and my dog was in his El Camino.
that was enough ! I stole my dog back form the El Camino Man, and
moved him to Cookeville, where we eventually relocated. We still
have that dog today.
This is the idea for a song that I hope to finish someday.
"watch out for the El Camino Man, he'll steal your dog away" RAJ
Now Roscoe was a good old dog, he never met a stranger
He met a kind old man one day, and did not know the danger
The children all called this mysterious stranger the "El Camino Man"
The gentleman was sly, and he did try, to tempt Roscoe with a biscuit
[That dog-gone El Camino man has gone and stole my dog]
